It is said that ‘Clothes make the man’. This proverb is a good demonstration of the importance of good appearances to a person. Here somebody may refute me by saying “you can’t judge a book by its cover’. What I have to say is the intrinsic factors do play a key role in the success of a person. Whereas, the extrinsic factors also count quite a lot. At least, a woman of a good appearance may make a better first impression than the one of a common appearance.
Here by mentioning ‘appearance’, what I am referring to is not only the exterior looks of a person, but also a person’s way of dressing up and the effect of his overall dressing. There are only lazy women but no ugly woman in the world. With the jack-up of ages, you may get the profound meaning of this saying. It is no easy thing to be a woman, especially to be a charming woman. It calls for a large amount of time and energy to make you yourself look perfect from the sole of the foot to the crown of the head. The characters of circumspection and patience are indispensable.
As far as I am concerned, tons of trivial details should be concerned when you are dressing up. While there is a general direction you should grasp, that is your dressing should always go with the occasion you are going to participate.
1. The principle of timeliness.
The principle of dressings in different periods of time means a lot to a woman. A man may handle different occasions with a qualified dark suit or a Chinese tunic suit. While the dressings of women turn to be more bright and colorful, they have to change with time. A woman has to wear a suit or a dress for formal occasions in the daytime to show her expertise. And in the evening, she would make a change of her high-heeled shoes and wear some shiny accessories to take part in a cocktail party to develop her maturity and charm.
2. The principle of occasions.
Your dressings have to coordinate with different occasions. They have to be serious and elegant in formal occasions such as a business dealing or a formal meeting; If you are going to a concert or seeing the ballet, it is the done thing for you to come in a formal dress; While your dressings should be light and comfortable on the occasions of a gathering of friends or an outgoing. Just imagine how embarrassing it would be if you are in ordinary clothes at a formal dinner occasions.

It will be appropriate for you to wear a set of tidy and comfortable sportswear when receiving guests at home. And it will show your expertise by wearing professional suits in the company. When being absent on a tour, you’d better avoid wearing clothes which are over exposed or too short to be chary of offending the local traditions and customs.

My Experience about Shopping Online
In modern society, a good many things are done on line. We use internet to chat, talk, and work. The internet provides us a huge stage to communicate with the world. However, the internet now do more than just recreation and relaxation, we can also manage our daily life on line. For example, with tremendous technological advances, more and more people are fond of purchasing goods with the help of the Internet, which is very convenient and fast. When you don’t have enough time to shop in the shopping mall, you can turn to this kind of way for help. It's a real revolution about people's consuming habits.
In order to keep up with the times, I ever tried to shop online once. I think it was my first time shopping online as well as my last try.
Since our college is far away from downtown and we don’t have much time to go shopping personally. Many of my classmates turn to shop online. It allows people to avoid those holiday mall crowds and checkout lines. In addition, you can have a variety of choices; you just need to compare products and prices between retailers with a couple clicks of the mouse. So I wanted to buy a piece of clothing online at that time. I shopped around online for a long time and finally chose one. It was a red T-shirt, and I ordered medium. As I didn't have an account at the online bank, my roommate paid the money for me. This clothes cost me thirty Yuan, and the postage was eight Yuan.
Two days later I received the clothes, but it was quite disappointing. The color was not the exact same as I chose and the size was not fit. Therefore, after that I never shop online again. I would rather go to the mall in person, because I can personally examine the product I am buying.
This is my simple experience about shopping online. I think we need to strengthen supervision over the information released by the Internet. In this way, we can reap more benefits from shopping online and reduce the possible harm to a minimum.
